Description
The scheme consisted of theconstruction of a 500 metre long bund, a 450 metre long jetty, a 100 metre longlinks pan bridge (weighing 950 tonnes)and a 50 x 30 metres pontoon. We areproud to have been the designers of the world’s longest linkspan bridge.
Project Design:
Kashec provided full marinecivil and structural design services for this scheme. The structure consistedof a 100 metre long linkspan supported on 50 x 30 metres pontoon of structuralsteel construction. The 450 metre long reinforced concrete jetty was supportedon piles.
