Description:

Buxmead is a residential development in the prestigious area of Hampstead comprising of twenty apartments set in a 2.5 acre site. The scheme consisted of the construction of two new concrete buildings and the restoration of an existing listed masonry building.

Project Design:

Kashec provided full structural design services for this scheme. The three-storey basement required temporary propping to the secant pile walls. It was designed to achieve a Grade3 waterproofing protection. Major façade retention of the existing listed building was necessary to preserve the architectural character of the late Victorian mansion. All permanent as well as temporary works were designed by Kashec.
